Description from the publisher:
The Angel of Death needs to get a life.

Archangel Azrael—AKA the Grim Reaper—spends his life around death, and his job is taking a toll on his happiness. At the advice of his therapist, he decides a night out with the living is just what the doctor ordered. To his dismay, it's speed dating night at DeLux Café, and the hosts refuse to let him leave. But when a bubbly blonde vampire catches his eye, she might just be the cure to this brooding angel’s woes.

Deirdre moves to LA for a change of scenery and a new flavor of the month. What better way to find Mr. Right Now than at a session of speed dating? She sets her sights on a scrumptious dark angel, and he does not disappoint. Deirdre has always had a hard time keeping her hands to herself, and the wicked sharp scythe glinting in the bedroom light—the object he specifically tells her not to touch—is just too tempting.

Whoops. Now she's gone from undead to really dead.

Azrael has three days to get Deirdre's soul reconnected with her body, but if she can't get over herself and forgive and forget, she'll be stuck in the spirit realm for good.

If you like sassy heroines and brooding heroes, you’ll love this opposites attract paranormal romance!

Azrael is book three in the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld shared world, filled with gorgeous grim reapers, vampire vixens, and more.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AZRAEL is the third book in the multi-author Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld series.  Each story is a stand-alone paranormal romance.
Curiosity killed the…. vampire.  Just when Azrael thought he might have found a second person to actually love in his long, long life, fate twists his own scythe in Deirdre’s hand.
This story is laugh-out-loud funny right from the beginning with office décor that act like mood rings, buttinski friends, and rapid-fire banter.  I couldn’t put it down.  There were even a few Easter eggs for those of us who routinely read stories from Carrie Pulkinen from her other series.
I would love to read more of this series, just to find out if the other authors are as wonderful as Ms. Pulkinen and how the rest of the dates turned out.
Note:  While I received this book as a gifted ARC via BookSprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
Some secrets should stay buried.
Ghost hunter Verity Long is no stranger to scandal. In fact, it seems to follow her around like her pet skunk, Lucy. But Verity is as shocked as anybody when a town relic discovered in a time capsule unleashes a torrent of secrets that lead to murder.
Trouble is, the only residents in Sugarland who know the truth behind the scandal also happen to be very dead themselves. With a killer on the loose and a town in crisis, Verity braves a side of Sugarland she's never seen before. From a booby-trapped haunted mansion to a run-in with the spirit of Sugarland's most notorious blackmailer who may hold the key to setting mob ghost Frankie free...for a price.
But when a live killer gets an inside track on Verity's investigation, will she live long enough to give up the ghost?
GIVE UP THE GHOST is the fifteenth book in the Southern Ghost Humor Mystery series.  While each will stand on its own, please read them all and in order for maximum enjoyment.
Are you old enough to remember the old Clairol commercials that asked “Does she or doesn’t she (dye her hair)?  Only her hairdresser knows for sure.”  Well, Erma Sue kept a burn book, that became her blackmail file, and it went to the grave (aka the time capsule under the high school football field) with her.
Now, Erma Sue’s daughter Twyla Sue has claimed her mother’s book and some residents of Sugarland are not happy about having their secrets known again.  When Twyla Sue is found dead, Verity, along with Frankie and Lucy the loveable skunk, have to prove innocent the one person they’d rather let eat her own crow.  However, she’d do anything for her honey, Sheriff Ellis Wydell.
I absolutely love this series.  The characters are engaging, and the stories always capture my imagination.
"Destiny does not care if you believe in it or not." (The Oracle at Dragon’s End)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

WISTERIA WEDDING is the fourteenth book in the Wisteria Witches series.  You will definitely want to read the previous books to best understand all of the characters.

Narration:  Tiffany Williams once again gives a superb performance of old characters and new.  She is the best narrator in this universe or the alternate one!

One of my favorite new characters is T.O.A.D.E. (The Oracle at Dragon’s End).  He’s no nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is, a little grumpy-old-man, and yet entirely loveable and human…. Err toad.  Even though he’s in the parallel universe, I hope we get to see him again!

This story actually starts out dark.  When a wedding becomes a wake, you know it can’t be good.  That is only one of the surprises in this story.  There is a baby on the way; death is not forever when djinn are involved; and then there is the ending.  I won’t give anything away, but don’t miss this ending!  A new beginning!
