Such a wonderful, short, paranormal love story.  The story may be only about 35 pages, but the characters are fully developed and I quickly felt empathy for both of them.  I thoroughly enjoyed this treat.

Note:  While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Description from the publisher:
This story fits between Books 12 and 13, but can also be enjoyed by listeners who are not already familiar with the series!

Someone is trying to ruin Christmas. Two of the town’s annual traditions have gone sideways so far. Now it’s starting to get personal for Zara Riddle, a witch who’s just trying to enjoy the season with her family.

In a small town full of supernaturals, it’s going to be tricky to figure out who or what has been causing such a calamity.

Zara has a list of suspects in mind, and the one at the top of the list happens to live under her own roof.

Can the Riddle family’s first Christmas in Wisteria be saved?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Critter Calamity is a short story and may be listened to as a stand-alone. The events in the story take place on Christmas, between Wisteria Witches Mysteries Books 12 and 13.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

CRITTER CALAMITY is the thirteenth book in the Wisteria Witches series.  This is a paranormal mystery short story with magic and supernatural creatures in a quaint small town.

This is a perfect Christmas gift to those of us who are long-time readers of the Wisteria Witches series.  However, it can also be a great introduction for new readers – just know that you will have spoilers before you go back and read the previous hijinks.

Of the critters that inhabit Zara’s home, my favorite has to be Boa (the cat).  Now, every time I want to make lunch, I find myself imitating Tiffany William’s voice as Boa.  “Haaam.”

I love the Wisteria Witches series.  This story is no exception – plenty of snark, family, sweetness, funny, and a dose of mystery in a clean read.  This time we get to enjoy a bit of Christmas.

Narration:  Tiffany Williams is always wonderful, and she is THE voice for these beloved characters.

Note:  While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Society’s most exclusive invitation...

Welcome to the Phoenix Club, where London’s most audacious, disreputable, and intriguing ladies and gentlemen find scandal, redemption, and second chances.

When Tobias Powell, the Viscount Deane, loses the young lady who’s stolen his heart to a pompous heir to a dukedom, all of Society is abuzz with his failure. As a scandal further blackens his reputation, he decides to become the rogue everyone believes him to be.

After courtesan Mirabelle Renault’s older sister marries her protector and is given the cut direct by the very Society who demands respectability, Mirabelle loses hope for her own future. Knowing she can no longer serve as a man’s paramour, she is determined to forge a new path—until she realizes that most doors are closed to her.

Carefree bachelor Lord Lucien Westbrook has lost his mistress and gained his autocratic father’s scrutiny now that his older brother is about to wed. Challenged to do something worthwhile, he launches an exclusive club, where Lucien helps those in need, no matter who they are or where they come from. One never knows who they will meet at the Phoenix Club…

INVITATION is the first book in the Phoenix Club series and a prequel.  This is a short introduction to the club and the characters that will be important to the coming series.

There is no beginning-middle-end story here.  Instead this is a wonderful way to get to know the background behind this unique club and why it is so exclusive.  I know I am now intrigued and looking forward to my first visit when IMPROPER comes to my kindle in a month.

ONE SAVAGE NIGHT is the eighth book in the Fierce Mates: Corona Pride series.  Though each book is centered around one couple, it is best to read them all and in the order of release.

I have not read any of the other books in this series, so I was a bit lost about the characters, but now I am ready for the next book!
