WOKE is a stand-alone contemporary
suspense-romance. It starts on Aurora’s
21st birthday, but the majority of the book continues when she is
36.
Though the “suspense” is slow and
predictable, the romance is beautifully arranged. Actually, there are two romances and they are
both wonderful. The characters really carry
this story, more than the action. Though
the narrative seemed to drag at times, I loved Aurora (A.J.) and Cade enough to
want to push through until the inevitable endings.
