I am obsessed with Disney movies. I will watch them over and over and over …. Actually, they don’t even have to be the Disney versions, I will watch or read any fairy tale, but Beauty and the Beast is probably my favorite. I have even coerced my husband (who hates all things Disney) to watch Beauty and the Beast with me, once. He LOVED Gaston and Gaston’s song. He couldn’t comprehend that Gaston was the bad guy LOL! So, of course, I wanted to read all about Gaston’s redemption.
I loved that Gaston saw himself as a beast on the Winderos Isle. A little turn-a-bout breeds humility and leads to the redemption he needs. In accepting a common lass, he earns the love of a princess. Le sigh! It’s just so perfect. This is another Beauty and Her Beast.
