Bailey Travers spent his childhood being a victim of his abusive father.  When he learns the man is out on parole, and after his sister at their ranch, he steps in to protect her from the nightmares of their past.  As he and Jaz reach out for help, will they realize it has been with them from the start?

LOVE'S EMERGING FAITH is the twentieth release in the multi-author First Street Church series.  Each story will stand on its own and they can be read in any order, but you will definitely want to read this one after reading LOVE’S LINGERING DOUBTS (#9) and  LOVE’S RETURNING HOPE (#15).  I wish I had known that.

Overcoming obstacles is easier when love is the driving force.  I could end my review with that one line.  I know it sums it up, but I don’t think it conveys they meaning to you who has come to get an idea of whether you want to pick it up.

I did not read the first two books in this series.  I wish I had, just because I want to know more about these two amazing people and the friends, family, and neighbors who support and love them.

Though this story isn’t about them coming together, it is about them working together to create something greater than themselves that will benefit their community.  It is also about their Happily Ever After that those who have read the first two books have been waiting to see happen.  This story is a smile-fest.  That doesn’t mean that there aren’t problems and difficulties, but they are quickly resolved with prayer and reliance on friends and each other.  I think that was one of my favorite things about this book; They were quick to turn to one another with an apology when needed, an idea, or a hug.

Note:  While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
