Description from the publisher:

A recent graduate of college, Nevaeh Clarke, finds herself returning to the outskirts of Meadow Crest to investigate the truth of her father’s death.  Staying with her cousin, she finds there are some things she may not want to know.

Along her journey, with the help of Kato Dameer, a sexy mechanic with animal magnetism, she learns her self-discovery is playing games with her heart and mind.

Nevaeh is taught the truth can be painful, but it can also be bittersweet.  Will she let go of the past and see into the future?

This was originally published in the Sassy Ever After Kindle Worlds series as Classy yet Sassy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DEJA VU is a stand-alone, paranormal, romance novella.
I love stories where the shifter knows his mate but has to wait until she realizes.  There is something satisfying in feeling that burn as he slowly courts her.  I loved how strong Kato was, but vulnerable when it came to Nevaeh.
The story had great suspense, romance, and paranormal drama.
This is the first book I have read from Elaine Marie (thank you Tor!) and I would definitely love to listen to more of her releases.
Narration:  Tor Thom is an excellent narrator.  His voice is as dark and sinful as my favorite chocolate.  He gives good theater of the mind with clear pronunciation and articulation.
Charley Ongel also has a clear voice with good articulation, pronunciation, and enunciation.  Her only drawback is that she seems to have taken her acting lessons from Sara from the movie LABYRINTH.  At any moment, I expected to hear these words, “Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child that you have stolen, for my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom as great — you have no power over me.  Quite honestly, one of my favorite movies, but not a role-model for acting.
Note:  While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
