CARAMEL AND MAGNOLIAS is the first
book in the Legley Bay series. It is yet to be determined if they will need
to be read in the order of publication, but I know that I would love to listen
when it is released on Audible.
What I loved about this book was
that there was a multitude of wonderful, complex characters that were each
unique and expertly described. They each
had their own personality that was allowed to shine in their own spotlights as
needed.
I also loved the mystery and the
realistic lives being lived… the relationships, friendships, life, hope, loss,
despair, and love.
There was one scene that was
repeated and another that seemed to be in the wrong place in the book; I don’t
know if these were production errors or editing errors.
Narration: S.L. Crawley does a
wonderful job of providing multiple voices, drama, pronunciation, and
production.
