CAN YOU PROTECT THEM is the first
book in the Federal Paranormal Unit series.
Each is meant to stand on its own.
Because I liked SAVE A HORSE from Jennifer Wedmore, I chose to pick up
this book. I was not disappointed.
It was fun looking at the story from
the minds of both the police and the serial killer. It was kept on the lighter side, while still
being creepy. I know that sounds like a
contradiction, but these authors managed it.
I’ll give you an example, the romance between Knox and Conahan kept
things from being too scary, but the Professor was taunting them with that same
romance. That just added to the creep
factor.
I absolutely would love to read more
from this series or these authors.
