REVEL is the fourth book in the
Romance a Medieval Fairytale series.
Each stands on its own, but there are some characters that appear in
subsequent stories that make it ideal, in my opinion, to read them in the order
of release. I have not done so and while
it does not diminish my enjoyment of the stories, I think it would have
increased the mystery of discovery had I read them in the correct order.
Unlike Beauty and the Beast
or Cinderella or…, I do not know the story of the Twelve Dancing
Princesses. I had no preconceived
notions and instead had the child-like delight of revelation as the story
unfolded for me. How wonderful to have
this gift so late in my life!
I also don’t know the story of the Goose
Girl, so I’m searching my files to see if I have this book as well so that
I can read it. I’m crossing my fingers,
because I love the unique spin Ms. Carlton has brought to these stories so
much.
