GIVE UP THE GHOST is the fifteenth book in the Southern Ghost Humor Mystery series.  While each will stand on its own, please read them all and in order for maximum enjoyment.
 
Are you old enough to remember the old Clairol commercials that asked “Does she or doesn’t she (dye her hair)?  Only her hairdresser knows for sure.”  Well, Erma Sue kept a burn book, that became her blackmail file, and it went to the grave (aka the time capsule under the high school football field) with her. 
 
Now, Erma Sue’s daughter Twyla Sue has claimed her mother’s book and some residents of Sugarland are not happy about having their secrets known again.  When Twyla Sue is found dead, Verity, along with Frankie and Lucy the loveable skunk, have to prove innocent the one person they’d rather let eat her own crow.  However, she’d do anything for her honey, Sheriff Ellis Wydell.
 
I absolutely love this series.  The characters are engaging, and the stories always capture my imagination.

WISTERIA WEDDING is the fourteenth book in the Wisteria Witches series.  You will definitely want to read the previous books to best understand all of the characters.
 
Narration:  Tiffany Williams once again gives a superb performance of old characters and new.  She is the best narrator in this universe or the alternate one!
 
One of my favorite new characters is T.O.A.D.E. (The Oracle at Dragon’s End).  He’s no nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is, a little grumpy-old-man, and yet entirely loveable and human…. Err toad.  Even though he’s in the parallel universe, I hope we get to see him again!
 
This story actually starts out dark.  When a wedding becomes a wake, you know it can’t be good.  That is only one of the surprises in this story.  There is a baby on the way; death is not forever when djinn are involved; and then there is the ending.  I won’t give anything away, but don’t miss this ending!  A new beginning!

SPELLCRAFT AND SORCERY is the third book in the What the Cat Dragged In series.  While each book will stand on its own, there is better enjoyment in reading them all and in the order of release.
 
I love this paranormal cozy mystery series so far.  I love the characters – especially the snarky, hairless, talking cat.  I love the intricate well-thought-out mystery.  I love the unique witchcraft that is employed.
 
This particular episode had memories of summer camp mixed with Lil and Jen assisting Dulce in looking for her missing prostitutes.
 
I’m looking forward to continuing this wonderful series and highly recommend it to anyone who likes paranormal cozy mysteries.
