APRIL'S FOOL is the fourteenth book in the multi-author Black Hollow series. Each one is a stand-alone paranormal romance set in the mythical town of Black Hollow where paranormal people are safe to be themselves.

You can’t call it a meet-cute when she’s – literally – a screaming banshee and he can’t understand a word she’s saying as she is trying to warn him of the impending death of a family member. Then she sees him again, and, for the first time in her very long life, she has the chance to repeat her warning in English!

As they race to try to prevent murders they believe will happen, they question their feelings that are quickly developing. Because of her magic, she is more intimately associated with death. I believe that makes her more accepting of the idea that she and Wyatt should grab the passion they feel while it’s in front of them, regardless of the circus concerns they are also facing.

I have loved the Black Hollow books I have been privileged to read thus far – I only wish I had read them all! As a child, I wanted to be a witch, a genie, a mermaid. Now, I want to be a witch, a genie, or a mermaid who lives in Black Hollow.
