BEHIND THE
MASK is the second book in the Halloween Seduction series. Each will stand on its own, but they are
loosely tied together, since the female leads are devoted sisters. You can read them in either order.
This story runs parallel to Come
Halloween, but is not a paranormal story, instead it is a contemporary romance
with some lite BDSM undertones.
Though you can tell this is one of
the author’s earlier works, it was still a great story that I thought was fun,
well thought out, and had a romantic ending.
So, why do I say you can tell it is obviously an early work: the word count push by being overly
repetitive of facts. Since I’ve read
several of his later works, I can tell you that he does tone that trait down
eventually.
What a fun dilemma. Emma has to choose between the fantasy filled
and fulfilling Halloween party she has waited over a year to attend or Jacob,
the man who fueling more fantasies now.
The question is could he possibly fulfill the one big fantasy – the one
that has been driving her to Trent’s Halloween party?
Meanwhile, Emma’s worried about her
sister, Kelly, and how she is handling the approaching anniversary of her
brother-in-law’s death. It’s only been
two years. COME HALLOWEEN, Kelly is
determined to be with her husband again.
This promises to be bit of witchy fun!
