FIFTY, FURRED, AND FABULOUS is the tenth
book in the Malsum Pass series. This was the first book I have read from the
series and I can honestly say that it stood on its own with no loss. That was probably because Ginny was on
vacation, so none of the other characters were around.
As a woman over fifty, I admired the
author’s understanding that life is not just for the twenties and
thirties. Ginny Weller is about to have
her fiftieth birthday and she is still fabulous! Scott Sloane certainly thinks so. Their vacation fling becomes so much more as
is the way of wolf shifters.
I love that he was sure, but
patient. She was hopeful, cautious, but uncertain. There was less of the almighty paranormal “must”
and more room for the couple to grow together.
To me, that made their love more real.
I loved that they had fun together
to allow that love to grow, even if it was in a short, vacation week.
As I said, this is the first book
that I have read from this series. I’d
love to read more… to get to know more of the people who mean so much to Ginny.
