DINNER WITH THE WOLF is the second
book in the Misfits & Rogues
series. These will need to be read in
the order of release.
Vivian Page grew up in middle class
with dreams of the big stage in Hollywood.
She changed her name. She changed
her demeanor. She changed her look. Eventually she changed her species. On the run, she returns to her hometown to
see the museum erected in her honor and that’s the beginning of reality catching
up to her.
Hollywood is a bit like Oz when you
actually do have star pizzazz. They
lavish you with compliments, gifts, and money.
You start to believe the hype of your own fame. Too many find the man behind the curtain in
the form of an orange jumpsuit. I’m glad
Vivian instead found a pair of ruby red slippers named Jules and that he
brought her home.
The character interaction is
amazing. I absolutely enjoyed this story
and could not put it down. The enemies-to-lovers
theme has been done perfectly in this story and has been set up to be done
again in the next book with blue fire balls in CHOCOLATES FROM A VAMPIRE.
