Description from the publisher:

Can two dark souls ever make a light?

As president of her own distribution company, Julie Dawson has all she ever wanted -- money, power, and respect.  But her carefully crafted façade conceals a torment of abuse and helplessness.  After years remaining emotionally aloof, she is finally independent, but alone.  Because she refuses to rely on anyone but herself ever again.

Evan Adams is no stranger to success, or personal demons.  The horrific trauma that destroyed his twin sister, and tore his family apart, forced him to craft a new life from the ashes of the old. He's content enough, focusing ahead and not dwelling on his murky past. But something important is missing. He knows what that thing is but refuses to acknowledge it.

When a chance encounter brings these two strong-willed but damaged people together , what seems like a long, erotic journey through hell could lead them to a match made in heaven.

MUTUAL RELEASE - A coming of age novel about trust...on the long road to love

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book was written in four parts.  Part one introduces you to Evan Adams as a young man.  We learn how and when he was introduced to the lifestyle and his progress and faults as he learned his part in this culture and his decision to purchase and operate a microbrewery.  Part two is Julie Dawson's story, beginning when she was a high school outcast and leading up to her being the CEO of a large Brewing Distributors company.  Parts three and four are the love and torment as they find and fight their way to each other.
This is the seventh of eight books in a series.  Once again, I didn't look before I leaped, but I got lucky this time and it is able to stand on its own.  Of course, now I want to go back and read the rest of the series.
This was another of those can't-put-it-down books.  This is a story of love, trust, redemption, and acceptance of one's self.  I stayed up until 2am, even though I knew the alarm was going off at 4am for my exercise time, but I Could. Not. Stop.  I had to know what happened next.  This book was full of the roller-coaster emotions that make up a full and complete life.  Between getting into the head-space of both Master Dom Evan and novice sub julie, I was truly pulled this way and that and rooting for the both of them through it all.  When I got to the end, I was laying in bed, panting as though I had just finished a triathlon!
PERSONAL NOTE:  I was very connected to these characters, probably because of the micro-brewery subplot.  My ex-husband's cousin, Tom Moench, is the brew master/owner of OBP – Orange Blossom Pilsner (www.orangeblossompilsner.com/ ).  I don't personally drink beer, but I have enjoyed visiting during beer-tastings.  I have participated, by smell only, to learn the difference between some of the beer types available.  In addition to OBP and OBP2 (with twice the alcohol content), Tom has recently added a Toasted Coconut Porter to his menu.  My husband and son love all of the beers available from Cousin Tom, the King Bee!
