Description from the publisher:
The
Desperate Crew is back with a romp through the resort island of Avalon when
Aphrodite convinces Artemis it’s past time for her to get her V-card punched. Artemis doesn’t want any messy entanglements,
and has a taste for bad boys, and the sexy Mordred Le Fey fits the bill. Too bad he’s cursed by the Lady of the Lake.
Aphrodite
has had her fill of Love being used as a curse and decides to give Vivienne her
comeuppance, but ends up with trials of her own when all she wanted was a
vacation.
Secretly,
Vivienne thinks she deserves to be punished because she’s been in love with
Arthur since she handed him Excalibur and she engineered the fall of Guinevere
and Camelot.
Gwen’s
marriage to Lancelot has been in name only since 1912. A fact that’s only made Avalon’s resident evil
enchantress Morgan Le Fey too happy.
Come
along for the ride as these goddesses take control of their Fate (or so they
think) and find their Happily Ever Afters.

This is the second of the Ambrosia
Lane series, but it does stand on its own.
I know for sure, because I didn’t know it was a second until I went to
write up this review. You can bet your
last bottle of ambrosia that I want to read the first and any future episodes
in this series.
I never studies Greek, Roman, or any
other mythologies, so I had a little mental catching up to do, but Ms. DeWylde
did an excellent job of providing the needed details to get me there. Add in the story of Camelot (which I do know
and love) and you have a cast of characters with familiar names set in an
unusual story. The twist is that they
have been brought into the modern world, but are behind a veil of protection.
When Aphrodite, the goddess of Love,
and Artemis, the goddess of the Hunt, decide to visit the resort island of
Avalon in order to finally rid Artemis of her virginity, Aphrodite’s powers
zing around the community with great results.
The humor is constant. The only tears were of compassion. This may have been the first book I read from
Saranna DeWylde, but it certainly won’t be the last!
