PLEASE
NOTE: Although this is a companion novel to Forget Me Not, you can read these
in any order. They are both standalone stories from different perspectives.
You met them in Forget Me Not. Now, hear Jack’s story.
Plagued by a dark past, Jack sees college as a way out. Desperate to escape the area where he grew up, the people who know his secrets, and his own family, he deals with his problems through alcohol and sex.
When he first sees Lily, she’s the epitome of everything he hates. Yet something about her makes Jack rethink everything he knows and assumes about other people. Now, with the help of his best friend and lover, Jack has to decide if he wants to pursue something that he knows will only end badly.
Can Lily be one of the few people who can see Jack for who he really is – or will his darkness be too much for her to handle?

After reading FORGET ME NOT earlier
this week, I could not wait to get my hands on this book. This stand-alone is the same story, but as seen
from Jack’s point of view.
Jack has never felt safe, wanted, or
needed. He is a junior in college on a
scholarship, escaping the small town where everyone knows his history. His father is in jail. His mother is dead. He saw it happen. Then he meets Lily. He thinks he knows her – she’s like every
other princess in this school. He knows
they all look down on him. She’s willing
to prove he’s wrong and his princess just may be the light at the end of a very
long, dark tunnel.
Jack is a dream. Part of me wants to push Lily out of his bed. That would be the slutty part who wishes she
were Lily. Part of me, after the book
glow is over, wants to hug him like his mamma should have. Either way, Jack has a piece of my heart now
that I may never get back.
