Ainsley Evina "Evi" MacLean has lost both of her grandparents within a year of each other. Her Grandfather left her a letter telling her that she needs to learn to live life outside of her books, because a book can never love her back.
Taking his advice, she sells her home, and decides to spend a year in Edinburgh, Scotland.
While there in Scotland, she finds herself giggling over the adorable Scottish accents, and falling for two Scottish men.
Ian MacGregor is a dark haired, green eyed gentleman, who also happens to be a Professor at the University at Edinburgh, where Evi has signed up to take a course he teaches on Scottish History.
Edwin MacMillan is a blue eyed, muscular, kilted God who runs the local Pub just up the road from Evi's cottage.
Will one of these sexy Scots teach Evi to live and love outside of her books?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Evi has been plagued by loss in her
life that has left her with debilitating panic attacks and nightmares. Upon his death, her last relative, has left
her a letter encouraging her to use her inheritance to travel. She has chosen to visit Scotland to see where
her grandparents met. Because of the
differences in culture, she finds herself embarrassed to be in the center of a
triangle.
I absolutely loved this story. I can most identify with Evi. I usually prefer the lives I live in my books
over taking chances with real people and it takes a lot to convince me to try
something new. When she, or I, do jump
into something, it is with both feet and no regrets. Evi and I also have a tendency to giggle and
blush around handsome men with cute accents.
I had the wonderful fortune to meet
Ms. Champlain, at an online party, along with her inspirations for Eddie and
Ian. They are warm, funny people with a
great zest for life that is well translated into this story. I only wish we
could have talked Eddie into sharing a picture of himself in his kilt.
Reading this book is a little like
St. Patrick’s Day – as long as you’re reading
it, you are part Scottish!
Grammar/editing: B – a few small
errors
