THEIR BABY DRAGON is the seventh release in the Not This series.  Though each will stand on its own, it is much better to read them all and in the order of release.

This is meant to be and absolutely IS a treat for those of us who have fallen in love with Angie the white dragon of New Port and her artistic, black dragon, hunka husband, Eoin, Harbinger of Smoke and Darkness.  Of course, twists, turns, sexiness, humor, and something completely unexpected will happen about every three-point-two pages.

Eoin as a suitor (book one) was amazing.  Eoin as a dad-to-be?  The sigh-meter went off the scales!  Of course, Angie’s eyes were rolling at his antics as she tried to reign him in.  (Also of course, as women we know she secretly loved every minute of it.)  Angie’s not only dealing with a dragon-dad-to-be, but raging pregnancy hormones, no clue how to lay an egg, and the unexpected arrival of the in-laws from Wonderland!  (ok, it’s just me, but I’ve nicknamed them The Queen, Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, etc.)

The fun and the funny are not to be missed.  If you’ve read the rest of the serious, don’t stop now!  If you haven’t, start at book one and catch up, you won’t be sorry!

HOOKED is the fifth book in the Prescott series.  Each will stand on their own, but I highly recommend reading all of these delicious stories.

Heart-stopping moments, tears, sighs, … yes this is a true romance between a girl who is bit of a free-spirited geek and a straight-arrowed workaholic.  She is a pastry chef and he is a restaurant owner and house chef.  That makes them like peanut butter and jelly from the start…. Or better yet, steak (with all of the trimmings) and chocolate cake.  For me, that’s the perfect simple yet perfect meal.

You will need a few tissues.  You may need a leash on your kindle to keep you from throwing it against the wall.  You may want to shake one or both of them on occasion – or the siblings – but you will not want to miss this story.

I know all five siblings have met their “the one,” but there are enough threads to suggest we may get a follow up story.  We can only hope.

WINE & DINE is the fifth book in the Silver Foxes series.  Each will stand on its own, but I highly recommend every book in this series.

Garrett Fox and Dolores Chance are temporary neighbors and her brother has told each of them that they are to be strictly in the friend zone.  Well, brother is on the other side of the country and we’re all adults.  Friendships tend to grow.  This one certainly does. 

Garrett’s nickname for Dolores is sigh-worthy on its own – Stunner – but even more so is the fact that he sees it in her when she has never felt it from anyone else.  She’s been too busy taking care of, quite literally, everyone else she comes in contact with back in her hometown.  Now, he’s taking care of her – first physically, then mentally, and finally sexually.

I loved all of the references to the Wizard of Oz.  L.A. is definitely a land where you can say “you’re not in Kansas, anymore.”

What I find in these older romance stories (and in my own life) is that, yes, finding love later in life presents different obstacles and different solutions.  It also provides greater joys and deeper meaning.

NOT HIS VAMPIRE is the third book in the Not This series.  Each will stand on their own, but I highly recommend reading them all and even better if in the order of release.

Trixie and Victor couldn’t be more unalike… and that is what makes them so perfect together.  Her kind heart is just what he needs to make him want to be a better man, er, vampire.

The story is full of wit, charm, humor, and suspense.  Fast paced, but never rushed, this made rush hour traffic my favorite time of the day!

I am absolutely in love with both of these vampires.  In fact, I love all of Annie Nicholas’ characters.  There isn’t a bad story in this series.  She knows how to bring out all of the character’s many facets of life, their strengths and their faults, and make me love them all the more for them…. even the villains.

Narration:  B.J. Harrison is the kind of narrator that other little narrators hope to be when they grow up.  His voice is as rich as the darkest chocolate.  His enunciation, pronunciation, articulation, and dramatization are everything you could ask for.  He is to be especially applauded for maintaining that Russian-living-in-America accent.  When I want sweet dreams, I’ll put this book on again as I drift away just to listen to that voice.
