I love how Emma is learning to use her Karmic powers, especially when she uses them for strangers who don’t even know she is there. We all, at one time or another, think “I wish I were there to see karma get so-and-so.” For me, it’s good enough to know it happens, for good as well as for the bad.
I love that Emma’s friends/coven are with her through it all, especially as she sets right her first use of her karmic power – returning her toad of an ex and his girlfriend to their human state.
Then there was the emotional roller coaster – and no great surprise – of finding out that her brother knew more about the paranormal world long before Emma returned to Mystic Hollow. There were other surprises though! Secrets from the past are definitely coming back to haunt.
Great fun, romance, ghosts, and intrigue kept this moving quick, quick, quick. I loved every minute of it!
