This ghost story held me spell-bound. What happens when a true medium dies? Well, apparently they stand on the other side as a medium assisting those who need help finding the light… a never-ending job, but at least she continues to be friends with the mediums who are still alive as well as a few fellow spirit guides.
One of those mediums is Michael, though he is denying his gift. I fell in love with him immediately.
Ruby had a heartbreaking life, and her afterlife isn’t a bucket of roses either. The plot of this story is her transitional stage in that afterlife with lots of twists, turns, and roller-coaster level drops. There is romance, intrigue, friendship, humor, and betrayal.
This story is well thought out and beautifully developed. I hope I get a chance to read from this author again.
