WITCH OUT OF WATER is the first book in the in the Kracken’s Hole series and part of the multi-author Magic and Mayhem Universe. 
 
Everything changes when Maeve moves to Kracken’s Hole.  She feels as if she has come home.  Could there be a reason for that?
 
A pigeon with a cursing problem is just the beginning of the hilarity in this story, but that doesn’t start until they reach Kracken’s Hole.  He is a just too funny!  He’s also very protective of his witch.  She’s been kicked around all of her life and he isn’t allowing it to happen anymore.
 
Will has spent 300-years as a ghost, his life – or is that afterlife – is also changed by Maeve’s arrival.  I love how he loves her, protects her, and doesn’t fight his feelings.
 
This year, this is exactly the type of stories I’m enjoying the most.  I want to escape reality.  I want mischief, humor, paranormal, and whimsy.  This story delivered.  The best part, as far as I believe, is that it is the first part of a series.  I can look forward to more of the Kracken brothers, the witches, and the wonderful world that J. Thompson has created within Robyn Peterman’s Magic and Mayhem world.
