SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE is the second
book in the Crescent Bay
series. Though they will each stand
alone, I highly recommend reading them both and in the order of release.
For Roan, Cara was “the one that got
away” and his best friend since childhood.
Cara felt the same way. Six years
after their one night together in college, they each think they are being so
noble in not revealing their own true feelings but offering only their
friendship.
The road to their happily ever after
is not easy, but it is so full of laughter and all of the feelings that it is
the just the kind of wonderful five crown (star) story that I love to
read. While I hate the act, as a literary
tool I especially loved the twisted and mean hook for how they were brought
back together.
Cara’s daughter, Arie is a little
sweetheart and it is just heartbreaking that she is being used as a pawn in the
game of the villains. I won’t say more
since I don’t want to give spoilers but trust me it’s life-altering!
So far there are only two in this
series. Please, dear Lord in heaven, let
there be more! On the other hand, we
will be returning to Crescent Bay for a Suspense Romance series and the first
book releases soon.
