FORBIDDEN MATE is the first book in
the Shifters of Bear’s Den
series. Though each will stand on its
own, there is an over-arcing storyline that will be best understood if you read
them all and in the order of release.
I loved Callum and Leah. I understood each of their need to protect
themselves (and therefore hold back information from the other). On the other hand, Leah drove me crazy with
her wrong choices. She knew that her ex
was bad news. I wanted just to shake
her! On the other hand, Callum’s bear
told him “mate” and he tried to fight it… idiot! He gets shaken, too! LOL
In the end, I have to admit that I
loved the story. Many parts had me
holding my breath or laughing out loud.
I’m looking forward to reading more of this series.
