I devoured this book!  It is frightening in that it is something you know could happen.  It is entertaining, captivating, and intelligent.

Cyber-terrorism is the modern political boogeyman and has already happened.  This book asks to what grand scale could it be pushed and how far does public service extend for a politician?

My only complaint in the whole book came at the beginning.  I have been accused of having the memory of a field mouse when it comes to names, so the machine gun roll call of characters was hard on me.  I caught up as I got to know each of them as they became relevant to the story.  There are many characters and they are important to know.  My advice is to take your own pace in learning who is who.

For me, the most fun was knowing that I bought two copies of this book.  I gifted one to my MIL and now I get to spend some quality time with her talking about favorite parts and theories!  She may be approaching 100, but she has a sharp and analytical mind that is inspiring to me.

In many ways, this story reminded me of the romantic intentions of THE GIFT OF THE MAGI.  Landon and Liz each would willingly give up something they want to prove their love for the other, but if they communicated, they would see that the love is all that is wanted.  Isn’t that true of so many of us?

I loved this cute, nerdy, happily after the HEA.

MY REVIEW

5 CROWNS

Though not listed as such, I would mark MOOSTLETOE as the fifth book in the Wild Men of Alaska series.  The couples brought together in those books are revisited as Bullwinkle bring Holly and Reese to their own happily ever after.

I love Christmas romance stories....add in a matchmaking moose and I was smitten.

It was obvious that there were other stories for the other characters that I was meeting, but I had no problem with following the relationships.  All that did was make me want more, more, more, of this town and the wonderful moose matchmaker!

This was the first book I have read from Tiffinie Helmer and I do not want it to be my last!  It was awesome, fun, funny, quirky, and Christmasy.  I’m still smiling!
