Description from the publisher:
When Olivia ends up going solo on
her first Alaskan cruise, she expects the hardest thing she'll have to do for
ten days is put down her cell phone, forget about work, and try to forget her
ex-boyfriend while checking out glaciers from her balcony. But in her zeal to
experience the real Alaska, she really misses the boat. That is, the ship sails
away without her. Luckily, she meets Russell, a handsome local wilderness
guide, who may be half grizzly bear, and may be in love with her. Olivia has
only one day to decide if she can trust a bear enough to turn her life inside
out and take what he is offering.

BEAR CRUISE is a stand-alone paranormal
romance… stand-alone, but it could easily be made into a series.
For a girl with trust issues, taking
the leap to leave her life behind and join her bear is beyond my
imagination. Yet, that is what fantasy
is about; isn’t it? Imagine if I could be
that brave, that daring, that adventurous!
Olivia did it and she found her HEA.
That’s not to say that she jumped in
all that easily even if she did make her decision in just a day or so. Indecision, fear, and second-guessing were
there, but pushed aside for the sake of a chance at what her heart was telling
her was the truth. That I understand.
The characters she met along the way
were individually sweet, compelling, and endearing. I’d love to know each and every one of them
better.
I hope Ms. Blake’s next book is all
about Olivia’s best friend, Holly, finding her own cuddly (teddy) bear. Then maybe we can find an Alaskan man for her
shipmate, Jewel. That girl could use
some shaking up by finding one man who can keep her for more than a few days.
