I grin down at her. When we were kids, she explained the birds
and the bees to me, but I insisted I washed up on the ocean beach. Emma never believed me.
When I got older, I learned we were
both right.

Jason always plans an unique outing
for Emma’s birthday, but this year, her 21st birthday, is going to
top them all. This year, he is finally
going to let her in on the secret of who he is - sort of. In the middle of a national park, they enter
a circus of rare creatures, including a naga, a chimera, elves, and
unicorns. Before the show can begin, their
trip to the circus because a fast-paced run in search of a siren and the human
who has kidnapped her.
This is a short-story; therefore a
quick read, but so worth the hour. While
considered to be a NA book because of the ages of the main characters, this is
not a sex-fest and is entirely appropriate for teens to read.
This is the first book I have read
from Ms. Webb and I absolutely loved it.
I will be picking up some more of her offerings, while stalking… no…
umm.. pestering… ummm no…… oh I have it, I will be encouraging her to
release the next in this series!
