Description from the publisher:
Haven Carey has given up everything to seek out the man responsible for her brother's death, but she gets a lot more than she bargained for when she comes face-to-face with the tall, dark, and delicious alpha. When her world is turned on its head, she soon discovers that nothing is as it appears to be.

Cat-shifting PSI-Operative Miles "Boomer" Walsh is the team loner for a reason—nothing and no one touches him. Not anymore. Except when a beautiful vixen shows up, claiming he murdered her brother, and tries to kill him. It's not the first time a female's tried to end him. But this time is different. Primal instinct demands his total surrender to whatever the woman has in mind…especially if that something includes a little pain mixed with pleasure.

This is the third book in the Psi Ops series (which parallels the Immortal Ops series).  Though it does stand alone, I would highly recommend reading them in order and reading the other series that are included in the Immortal Ops Worlds.

I held my breath.  I sighed.  I swooned!  I laughed out loud (and even snorted- it’s true!!).  Haven and Boomer have both been heavily scarred during childhood.  Each feels abandoned to the world.  When they meet, the animalistic passion of instant attraction leaps off the page.  The sex is amazing hawt, but it’s more than sex.  It is unfathomable passion, attraction, and undeniable love.

ACT of SUBMISSION is a great story, with perfect timing and pace.  I was immersed in the story and didn’t want to stop until I finished it.  Then I had to sit there and just bask in the afterglow of what had happened.

As always, my plea when reading something from Mandy Roth is “more, more, more,” and thank you for the gift that is your storytelling ability.

Grammar/editing:  A – near perfect
