GIFTS OF THE GHOST is the second book in the Meowing Mediums series.  Each book in this series will stand on its own, but why deny yourself?
 
I love this series, and this story was wonderful.  I love the touch of Revolutionary History and the secret room reminded me of my love of the old Nancy Drew stories.
 
I would have loved to have seen more of the cat, and Maggie the ghost, but there is a new ghost, a new villain, and a new mystery to solve.
 
This was a great read, highly entertaining, fun, exciting, and a bit of romance.  We all know it si the romance that does it for me!  Romance and a cute animal, plus a touch of paranormal – all of my boxes have been ticked.

UNFETTERED is the second book in the Midlife Mage series.  This is a continuing series following the life of Ceri Gault.
 
IMHO, this series does stand on its own, but it seems to be a spin-off of Daphne Moore’s Reckoning Series.  Those who have read that series will have an advantage in understanding this world.   
 
There is a nice mix of suspense, friendship, intrigue, and a touch of romance that kept me glued to the book and eager for more in this series.
