THE RANCHER TAKES A BRIDE is the
first book in the Burnett Brides series.
It would be best to read them in the order of release.
This was the first book I have “read”
from this author and I am hooked! I
loved it! When I first started reading
romance books way back when I was a teenager – those old bodice rippers with
Fabio on the front of most of them – the westerns weren’t like this!
Rose/Desiree is no shrinking violet
waiting for someone to tell her how to live her life. She has a plan. She kept me giggling as she worked to get
through to Travis so that she could get on with her life. Of course, I was also cheering as they worked
towards her finding out that that life plan could be changed to include him.
