with a hot bear on one curvy sarcastic girl, then this is right up your alley.

Mrs. Wilder cocked her head to the
side, staring at her with her soulful eyes. “Darling, there are many sides to
you. Your beauty, your body, your wit, your abilities at work. What do you want
to focus on if anything in particular?”
She leaned back on the sofa, the
seat dipping under her butt. The leather squeaked with the weight of her body.
“I want more than sex. Don’t get me wrong, sex is great.”
Mrs. Wilder snorted, her eyes turned
bright with amusement. Her lips twisted in a smirk and a small dimple showed on
her right cheek. She appeared even younger when she smiled. “Sex is amazing
when done correctly. Especially if he can figure out how to be all alpha and
make your legs shake.”
Oh, damn! She choked on the cookie
she’d taken a bite of, chocolate spewing from her lips with each cough. She
picked up a napkin and tried to clear her throat. Mrs. Wilder was a freak.

When Nita was in high school, her
best friend was a bear shifter. Horribly
shy and self-conscience of her weight, she never told him how she felt about
him. When her family moved back to the
city, she never got the chance to even say good-bye.
When he was in high school, Ky knew
that he had met his mate – the pretty, curvy girl he was tutoring in math. Unfortunately, he stuttered, was too thin,
and was self-conscious of his status as a geek.
When she moved away, he and his bear were lost without their mate.
Seventeen years later, both of them
having loving, meddling families who have set them up with the Paranormal
Dating Agency. Sometimes that’s all that
fate needs to put things back on track.
Now the gorgeous chief of the Stone Clan, Ky doesn’t look like the
awkward teenager that Nita once knew.
What is he to do when she doesn’t recognize him?
I love Nita. She has voiced exactly what we all want in a
mate. Love should be more than models’
bodies and great sex (though those are great, too). True love includes compatibility of intellect
and ideals. The best romantic
relationship includes friendship. She
has compared every man she has ever been with to the friendship she knew in
school with “the one who got away.” Mrs.
Wilder reminds me a bit of Dr. Ruth – does anyone remember that wonderful
lady? She is straight-talking, a little
kinky, and (paranormally) efficient as a modern-day Cupid…and she bakes!
This story has more than a few
giggles, a few gasps of concern, and tons of hot-steamy-sexy loving. Definitely not for the prudish, but I have
never been accused of owning that attribute by anyone who actually knows
me. If you are ready for a little fun
and a lot of steam – read this book.
