This is the first book in the Wolfpack Trilogy.  They will need to be read in order.

Aisha is a young, curvy girl living in Washington State as a veterinary assistant.  She was raised in foster care, but has been with Heath for about four years – since she was sixteen.  Heath has been offered a job in Alaska and wants her to come with him.  The trip up north will be exciting, daring, and dangerous.  Even more so, there will be discoveries about herself and about Heath that will surprise and frighten her.

Excellent storyline and fully-developed characterization are the hallmarks of this introductory story in the Wolfpack Trilogy.  Abby Weeks has set the stage for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness.  Aisha was abandoned as an infant, orphaned, and growing up in the foster system of Washington State.  In a bid to flee her foster-father, she was seduced by Heath, a man eight years her senior.  She never thought of her relationship with Heath as being a contract for protection, but the closer they come to Dead Wolf, Alaska, the more clearly that contract is defined.

I absolutely loved the story.  I took one crown away because during the erotic scenes Aisha was forced to perform oral sex after anal.  This is not only just plain gross, it is potentially deadly.  To me this was irresponsible.  No woman who will perform such acts in real life will allow them to be performed in that order if she intends to keep herself safe and alive.  There is always time to grab a washcloth and then please your man orally (wink).  I will warn that if rape or extreme bullying are triggers for you, then you should skip this book.  Otherwise, grab a copy and enjoy the erotic adventure that is about to unfold!
