This is the second book in the Touch
series. These should be read in order.
Part 1: How Chloe and Derrick became a couple. From their first at the end of their junior
year of high school, through college, and law school, Chloe and Derrick have
been as inseparable as possible, but Chloe is a self-centered, career-driven
girl. When offered the job of a
lifetime, she jumps on it and leaves the man she loves behind. Part 2: Can their relationship survive being
bi-coastal?
In TOUCH ME, we got a glimpse into
the dynamic of Chloe and Derrick, but I was left wondering
"why?" Why does Derrick put up
with that shit? What is driving
Chloe? Are they in or out? This was an emotional read that had me hoping
and cheering for the HEA. There is a lot
of overlap and we see some of Char and Riley's story through Chloe and
Derrick. The friendship and
companionship of all of the family and friends is endearing. The dialogue is still a little stilted, but
worth it for the story.
Next read is the third book in this
series. No waiting!
