This is the first book in the
Forehead Kisses series. It does stand
alone with no cliff-hanger ending, but the series will need to be read in order.
One willful act as a teen has
destroyed Keira. She is broken into too
many pieces to ever feel whole again.
She finds solace in solitude and only allows her cousin, Scotty, as her
companion. Liam lays siege to his demons
in violence and sex. When Liam meets
Keira he recognizes the yin to his yang.
For her, with her, he wants to push back the demons and claim his angel. Can they repair both of their shattered
hearts, together?
This was one of those slow, gentle
reads. The background stories are
violent and soul shredding, but their love story is patient and soothing. This was a wonderful sit still, relax, and
enjoy the book kind of story.
