the Moon Pack Rules series. I have not
read any other books in this series, and found it to stand on its own just
fine.

Desmond is a rarity
It is no news flash for me to say that
I love paranormal romance – fairies, witches, gods, angels, shifters are all
among my favorites. What you may not
know is that my first romance reads, back when I was a teenager in the late
70s/early 80s, were the old bodice-rippers. Fabio graced most of the covers
(YUM!) and there were a lot of pirates. So,
when asked if I would want to read about a werewolf pirate? The only answer I could give was, “Yes,
Please!” I was not disappointed. Now, I want to collect and read the rest of
the series!
I have fallen in love with Matthew
and was rooting for him the whole way through the book. Of course, I was rooting for him. He wasn’t the one fighting his own
feelings. Kammie is not a bitch. She has a big secret that she is sure would
end his feelings for her, but doesn’t want it to be public knowledge. She thinks it will be easier to just deny him
completely then to even allow that little bit of herself to be put on the
line. I loved his response when, in
desperation to end his pursuit, she blurts the one thing that she believes will
damn their relationship. I could hear
the hearts and flowers music in my head immediately. That’s really all any woman wants – to be accepted
exactly as she is … and he does!
