This is the third book in the Vagabonds trilogy.  They do need to be read in order.

Kyle Summers is the Queen of Metal Rock in this series.  She is no little summer shower, she is a category 5 hurricane ready to take the music industry by storm.  She is one Bad Ass Bitch with a serious talent and passion for the metal she plays.  Sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll is only the beginning of the life she is living…

I am heartbroken to come to the end of this amazing ride.  It was full of surprises that made me cry and cheer.  I loved the raw emotions that Kyle bore and learned to tame.  She is a spit-fire determined to take the one life she has and make it sing her tune!

This was my favorite book in the series.  I could not put it down and it was well worth the missed sleep.

If you’re wondering if you should read this series… if you’re think that because they started as teenagers it’s meant for teeny-boppers…. If you’ve never read a book from Jade C. Jamison before…but you love romance and or rock music… I’m telling you know that you won’t be disappointed.  Start with this series and then go gobble up the rest of her books.  Her books are my drug of choice and I invite you to party with us!!

This is the second book in the Vagabonds trilogy.  They do need to be read in order, but there are no cliff-hangers.

Kyle and her bandmates, collectively known as the Vagabonds, are exposed to the world of rock as a touring all-girl band.  Everyone knows the trilogy – sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll.  They are ready to rock, but are they able to navigate the heavy waters of the other two legs of the journey?  Though all musical phenomes, they are faced with grasping a maturity their years may not have yet prepared them to handle.

I am not musically inclined.  Don’t get me wrong – just because I can’t sing, doesn’t mean I won’t!  Reading this series, I swear even I could hear the notes that needed to be played, complete with some major shredding and eloquent riffs.

I was so immersed in being Kyle as I read this, that I often felt the need for an after-the-sexiness cigarette, felt the hangover, and felt the adoration of the crowds as I sang.  I also felt the frustrations, the joys, and the angst of being a late teen riding the surf of budding fame and burgeoning womanhood.

I love Kyle’s determination to make it and to do it all in a big way.  Her focus – music – comes before everything.  This is tested and always reinforced.  Then there is the CJ issue – I felt like I was waiting for my 18^th birthday to come again (never mind that I’m nearly three times that age!).  Their chemistry was already off the charts and I just knew that that was going to be a rocking song when it hit the stage. 

The minute I finished the last word, I was begging for book three.  Jade doesn’t disappoint – though never in the ways that you are expecting.  She delivers and has earned her title – the Queen of Rock Romance.

It was with the release of this series that Jade was dubbed “the Queen of Rock Romance,” and there is no mistaking that it is a title that fits.

I was swept away in the emotions and excitement of living Kyle’s life as a young woman realizing her greatest ambitions.  This book was a great escape from reality at a time when I need it!

I am so thankful for the schedule of release that Jade has set for this series.  She has made us all wait while she gets all three books in the trilogy ready and is intentionally planning to release each just a few weeks apart.  I for one, am grateful that the wait for book two will not be long.

I received this book as one of the voters through Kindle Scout – a program that asks the readers to vote on the books that will be published through Kindle Press.  In exchange, the voters for the book each receive a copy if it is chosen for publication.  I am so glad I was included in this vote and that it succeeded!

First I’ll say that I love the cover.  It is whimsical and sweet and sets the tone for the story.

For someone who loves the movie Hocus Pocus and whose favorite character of the movie is Thackery (the cat), this book was immediately endearing.  How does the young man feel about being a cat?  What abilities change with the changing physique?  I fell in love with Tom long before Cassie had figured out that her aunt’s pet was a little something more than a pet!

I loved hiding in this story – completely lost to the world as I know it and living the life that Cassie is finding to be uniquely different after inheriting her aunt’s potions shop.  What if the magic were real and not just a con for the tourists?

This story does stand on its own and you could read it and call it quits, but there is still a semi-cliffhanger that begs for attention and continuation.  I sincerely hope that Ms. Nojack will continue this series, because I must know what happens to Cassie and Tom!
