Masters MC series. They will need to be
read in order.
B.B. Blaque broke basic rules of
writing, and it worked. Is it in first
person or third? Yes, and it worked! Talk to the reader? Yes, and it worked! Writing in dialect? She gave each and every character their own
voice and did a perfect job of maintaining each one’s uniqueness.
Tuesday and Colt are awesome –
individually and as a couple. I loved
that the difference between abusive wanna-be and a loving Dominant is so
beautifully portrayed. Tuesday has spent
years living a life of abuse disguised as a D/s relationship. Even so, Tuesday is more than a
survivor. She is strong and she is feisty. With Colt, she is allowed to bloom in a true
relationship that includes the D/s component that encourages her to be
herself. That is the true gift of a
Dominant. Still, the story is more than
a D/s fairy-tale. It’s raw. It’s gritty.
It’s real… and it’s not over!
I could not put this book down and
ignored a lot of life while living in the world B.B Blaque has created. When your significant other asks what you
want for Valentine’s Day (or birthday, or…), I suggest you ask for one day,
uninterrupted, to read this book. I
think it safe to say, you may also want to bank a day for the next book. I know I’m banking my day for when STOLEN
PROPERTY releases!
My note to B.B. Blaque: I’m begging for Barely’s story. Please don’t make us wait too long!
