3 CROWNS – very good BBW shifter story

This is the first book in the Red Moon Seduction series. It does stand alone, but there is obviously a back-story that is not fleshed out. I hope that reading further into the series more of the back-story will be provided.

The story is short and very sweet. Anna believes that Matt has cheated on her. Matt can’t tell her the truth, but asks her to believe him when he says that she is his chosen mate. Anna must choose between her pride and her passion, her head or her heart.

I enjoyed the story, but I was frustrated that the “mission” was never clarified. Why couldn’t Matt tell his mate about his true job? Kia and Bunny can pursue their relationship without losing their jobs, but Matt can’t? I think the story would be improved if these questions were answered within.

Given this is her freshman offering, I would be glad to read more from Ms. Bryce to see her maturation as a writer.
