WILD FATE is the fourth book in the Black Claw Ranch series. Though each will stand on its own, I would
strongly recommend that you read them all and in the order of release.
Alex and his bear are mad at the
world. He wasn’t born as a shifter. He didn’t ask to be a shifter. He was attacked. His plans, his world, his life was taken away
from by a bully in a bear shift. He had
to give up everything, including the woman he loved, the woman his bear knew
was his mate. How was he to understand
mate. He didn’t comprehend what had been
done to him since shifters were still a secret six years ago.
I understand the soul-crushing depth
of Olivia’s feelings towards losing Alex six years ago. You live afterwards. You outwardly move on, but nothing is the
same. There is before and there is
after. It is a delineating mark in your
life. The newest chapter of her life is
a new job. Her dream job is working with
shifters and a project to see if the bitten can be reversed to human. Imagine her surprise to see Alex’s name among
the files of test subjects!
New business will wait, Olivia wants
old answers first. I loved that she wasn’t
weak. She may have been crushed, but she
wasn’t destroyed! Her strength is going
to be tested by Alex… and by his maker.
This was an amazing story. It was full of suspense, passion, and
love. I especially love the love of the
clan. They are great at teasing,
tormenting, and pranking one another, but they will also support and defend against
any and all who may come against them, including their own inner demons.
I’m excited to read Jesse’s story in
BUCKING FATE in just a few weeks. No
matter where Cecilia takes us, I know there will be passion, suspense, and love
… lots of love.
