I’m going to start off by saying she
did it again! Lisa Renee Jones
sucks me in every time. She holds me
captive. I can’t stop reading until I reach
the end and when I do, I’m pushing for more pages, I’m screaming, “No!” and I’m
gasping for the next installment in this series.
I love Emily. She makes Shane stronger and smarter. She guides and he listens to her… better than
most men IMHO. Still, Shane frustrated
me. He knew that she was smart and gave
good advice, so why does he keep trying to send her out of the room while he
conducts business? I know he’s trying to
“protect her,” but she already knows what is going on. So, why not let her have the information that
will allow her to help him even more in making those smart decisions? The business, the family, and their lives are
on the line. Allow her all of the way
in! Trust her!
I think it is this holding back of
his trust that keeps her from fully believing she has the whole package when he
offers her his world.
Suspense, family drama, suspense,
sexy romance, and suspense! BAD DEEDS
kept me up until the wee hours, because there was no way I could stop until …. Oh
sh## a cliffhanger… I should have known.
I did know. Still, I go until I’m
hanging on by my nails and I wait until the next book to see who will be there
to peel my nails from the cliff and hold me as I continue on in this series.
