For me, this was a quick read while I
waited for my hair color to set. A quick
read that had me laughing out loud and wishing for a full moon – of the fireman
type!
I love Livy. She’s just my type of quiet bookish girl who
ends up with something so outlandish happening that nobody would believe her if
she told the truth. Maybe this bit of fiction
is someone telling the truth – we’ll never know. I kind of hope it is.
My suggestion to you – if you have
an hour and you need a smile, this book will accomplish the goal. In fact, I believe I may leave this one in
the front files to bring the smile back when the world is getting gray and
gloomy this winter.
This is the first story I have read
from Jocie McKade. I wish I had more of
her books, because she writes what I love – romance, cozy mysteries, and humor.
