Madelyn Mason has been seeing and
sensing the supernatural since she was a very little girl. She is a Guardian, protecting the innocents
of the world from the things that go bump in the night. Her best friend and roommate is Brady Devens,
Hollywood actor and
I absolutely loved this story and
could not put it down. There are no dull
lulls in this. Instead you are rushed
along in a frantic tide of magic, shifters, nymphs, paparazzi, and
fan-girls. Don’t get me wrong, the story
is not rushed at all, but the action is non-stop. There are plenty of supporting characters who
help to keep the story interesting and each one is completely developed. Great characters, great story, and great
snark - in other words, my favorite kind of story!
My only disappointment was in
finding myself at the end and wanting more.
Unfortunately there is not anymore, yet.
Ms. Roth has written two different book twos, but neither have been released. She’s trying to decide which fork to take in
that road…. I hope she releases one of them soon!
